Open to the Public
The Museum is located at the intersection of 9th & Philadelphia Streets in Indiana, Pennsylvania on the Third Floor of the Indiana County Community Building. The Jimmy Stewart Museum is open to the public.
Museum Closes Promptly at 4PM
During inclement weather when it is necessary to close – We will have the closing on our local radio station.
The Museum is closed on New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr.’s Birthday, Presidents’ Day, Easter, July 4th, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. All other holidays the Museum is open.
We close at Noon on Christmas Eve Day and at Noon on New Year’s Eve Day.

We accept VISA, Master Card, Discover, Diners Club, JCB, and American Express at the Museum and gift shop.
We are encouraging our patrons to use the Indiana Borough’s Parking Garage at 650 Water Street or you may park when available on the 800 or 900 Block of Philadelphia Street where meters won’t be enforced after 5:30 PM. There is limited parking behind the Museum.
