STEWART MUSEUM’S “GEORGE BAILEY AWARD” TO BE RECEIVED BY JOE RESCHINI, IN HONOR OF HIS LATE FATHER, INDIANA BUSINESSMAN ROGER RESCHINI, SATURDAY 21 NOVEMBER
The annual George Bailey Award, presented by the Jimmy Stewart Museum will honor Indiana businessman and civic leader, the late Roger Reschini in a dinner ceremony at Rustic Lodge at 6pm on Saturday November 21, as part of “It’s a Wonderful Life” week-end.
The holiday theme comes home for an evening of remembrances and conviviality for an early Thanksgiving dinner at Indiana’s Rustic Lodge. The late Indiana business and civic leader, Roger Reschini is honored for his very special relationship and support of the Jimmy Stewart Museum over many years, and now continued by his son, Joe.
“Simple Pleasures” will provide holiday background music for a cocktail hour from 6pm to 7pm. Dinner and awards following. The evening will include a showing of the Museum’s new James Stewart Tribute Film, and shared remembrances of Mr. Reschini.
Museum President, Tim Harley noted “that without Roger’s generosity in several respects, the museum would have been challenged to provide special services and offerings to the many VIP’s that travel to Indiana in support of Museum events.
